Xoople and L3Harris Technologies have announced the co-development of a first-of-its-kind satellite constellation designed to serve as a foundational layer for spatial intelligence. Unveiled on April 7, 2026, in San Francisco, the project represents the culmination of seven years of secret research and development. This unprecedented space-borne measurement system aims to provide the high-fidelity data necessary for the growing demands of the AI era.

Precision for the Agentic Era

The partnership combines Xoople's data infrastructure expertise with the manufacturing scale of L3Harris. The constellation features advanced optical sensors optimized to deliver data quality far beyond current commercial standards. These assets are specifically engineered to support agentic workflows where autonomous systems require reliable ground-truth information. Accuracy is the cornerstone of this new infrastructure. CEO Fabrizio Pirondini noted that AI systems often require precision where even a small margin of error can lead to failure. To meet this need, the new sensors provide measurements designed to be two orders of magnitude more precise than existing monitoring systems.

Scaling Earth's System of Record

The platform, known as Earth’s System of Record, enables organizations to track real-world changes in real time. Use cases range from optimizing global supply chains to managing critical infrastructure and monitoring geopolitical security. By delivering machine-ready data, Xoople aims to power the next generation of physical intelligence.

Strategic distribution is another key differentiator for the company. Rather than selling standalone dashboards, the company integrates its intelligence into major ecosystems like Microsoft Azure and Esri. This strategy ensures that high-precision data is available exactly where enterprise and government decision-makers already operate.

The announcement coincides with Xoople securing 130 million dollars in Series B funding led by Nazca Capital. This brings the total capital raised to 225 million dollars and establishes the firm as a new unicorn in the aerospace sector. This funding marks a significant milestone for European space technology and the expansion of the Spanish aerospace hub.

The collaboration between Xoople and L3Harris signals a transition from traditional satellite imagery to high-precision data streams designed for machine consumption. While the Earth observation industry has historically catered to human analysts, the shift toward autonomous AI agents requires a level of reliability and low error rates that legacy systems struggle to provide. By prioritizing a machine-native data layer, Xoople is effectively building the sensory nervous system for global enterprise AI. This approach bridges the gap between digital models and physical reality, potentially setting a new standard for how industries like logistics and defense interact with orbital intelligence.
