Abu Dhabi Police and Space42, the UAE based AI powered SpaceTech leader, have entered a strategic partnership to transform urban security through autonomous mobility. Signed on January 7, 2026, the Memorandum of Understanding establishes a roadmap for integrating advanced AI and satellite technology into the capital's law enforcement infrastructure. The collaboration focuses on developing self-driving police vehicles and intelligent security frameworks to ensure safer, more efficient roads.

Brigadier Mohammed Dhahi Al Hamiri, representing the Abu Dhabi Police, emphasized that the agreement aims to elevate service quality through high-tech security adoption. By applying AI and autonomous solutions to police fleets, the department expects to minimize traffic incidents and enhance community safety.
