Pozalabs announced the implementation of a sophisticated sonic branding system for Otier Banpo, the flagship development of POSCO E&C’s luxury residential brand, on April 3, 2026. The project introduces customized audio environments for five key community spaces including the lobby, sky lounge, and fitness center. This initiative marks a shift in residential design by treating auditory elements as a core brand experience rather than background noise.

The system leverages Pozalabs’ proprietary AI technology which generates high-quality music based on a dataset of over one million MIDI samples created by human composers. This approach ensures all tracks are copyright-free while maintaining a professional standard through human-led post-production. The AI curation system monitors environmental variables to automatically play music tailored to the specific hour and season.

Specific auditory identities were crafted for the therapy lounge and book cafe to match their unique atmospheres. CEO Heo Won-gil emphasized that high-end residential brands are increasingly focusing on integrated sensory branding beyond visual aesthetics. By automating the selection process, the system provides a seamless and dynamic soundscape for residents.

The collaboration specifically targets five community hubs within the development to ensure a cohesive brand identity. By integrating AI at the architectural level, POSCO E&C aims to differentiate its HAUTERRE brand in the competitive Seoul reconstruction market. This move demonstrates how technical innovation can be applied to traditional industries to create high-value user experiences.

This rollout expands the value of music by positioning it as a core component that shapes the brand experience of a physical space. The project follows Pozalabs’ successful collaborations with other major entities like Samsung and Google according to details from the Korea Startup Post. It highlights the growing trend of using environmental technology to enhance luxury living.

The integration of AI-driven spatial audio into luxury real estate signals a move toward holistic sensory architecture in the South Korean market. As high-end developers face intense competition and rising construction costs, they are turning to low-maintenance digital amenities to justify premium valuations for flagship projects. This partnership validates the B2B utility of ethically trained AI models which avoid copyright risks while providing scalable customization for massive physical infrastructure. By moving beyond traditional visual luxury, POSCO E&C is setting a new benchmark for how technology shapes the psychological perception of premium residential living spaces.
