NVIDIA has shattered all previous financial records, reporting a staggering $215.9 billion in full-year revenue for fiscal 2026. This represents a 65 percent increase from the prior year, a growth curve driven almost exclusively by the massive adoption of artificial intelligence infrastructure. The fourth quarter alone generated $68.1 billion, marking a 73 percent jump compared to the same period one year ago.

The company’s Data Center segment is now the undisputed heart of its business, contributing a record $62.3 billion in quarterly revenue. This represents 91 percent of the company’s total sales, highlighting how heavily the world’s tech giants are investing in AI chips. Founder and CEO Jensen Huang stated that the world has reached an inflection point for agentic AI, where machines begin to reason and solve complex problems independently.

While the current Grace Blackwell chips are driving massive volume, NVIDIA is already looking toward the future with its Vera Rubin platform. This next generation of hardware is designed to deliver a ten-fold reduction in the cost of running AI models. Leading cloud providers including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft are already preparing for the rollout of these new systems later this year. Beyond the hardware, the company is solidifying its dominance through a vast ecosystem of software and open models. The launch of the Nemotron 3 family of models provides businesses with the tools needed to build their own AI employees. This strategic expansion ensures that NVIDIA is not just selling chips, but providing the entire operating system for the next industrial era. Financial performance remained strong across the board with GAAP gross margins sitting at 75 percent for the quarter. The company also returned over $41 billion to shareholders through dividends and buybacks during the fiscal year. Looking ahead to the first quarter of fiscal 2027, NVIDIA forecasts continued growth with revenue expected to reach approximately $78 billion.

The transition from simple generative AI to agentic reasoning marks a fundamental shift in how global compute is utilized. By generating over 90 percent of its revenue from the data center, NVIDIA has evolved from a component manufacturer into the foundational architect of the AI industrial revolution. The aggressive roadmap featuring the Vera Rubin platform indicates that the company is moving faster than the industry can provide competition. Ultimately, these results confirm that the primary constraint on the AI boom is no longer software development, but the physical availability of NVIDIA’s specialized silicon.
