Atlassian Launches Remix with Rovo to Convert Confluence Documents into Visuals and Apps

Atlassian has launched Remix with Rovo along with a suite of third-party partner agents for Confluence. This release marks a significant move from standard text generation to agentic AI that converts documentation into functional outputs such as charts, codebases, and slide decks. The update targets the last mile of productivity by helping teams transform existing knowledge into formats ready for immediate action.

The Remix feature enables users to select content on any Confluence page and visualize it as an infographic or diagram without altering the original source. This adaptive workspace approach addresses a key engagement metric: visual pages are nearly twice as likely to be read by a broader audience. By keeping the source text intact, teams maintain a canonical version while offering multiple ways to consume the data.

Atlassian is also utilizing the open Model Context Protocol to bridge the gap between documentation and software execution. Partner agents for platforms like Lovable, Replit, and Gamma allow users to turn product requirements into working UI prototypes or functional codebases with simple commands. These integrations eliminate the manual effort of copying data into external developer or design tools.

These capabilities are built upon the Teamwork Graph, which maps over 100 billion work items to maintain deep organizational context. This technical foundation ensures that AI-generated artifacts stay connected to their original documentation while adhering to existing enterprise security and permission settings. This setup allows for a more secure way to utilize AI across the corporate tech stack.

Remix with Rovo is currently rolling out in open beta to Confluence Cloud customers with Rovo access. Third-party partner agents are scheduled to begin their rollout next week, with simplified administration options available in the Atlassian Administration portal.
