AnyMind Group has announced the acquisition of all shares in Bcode Inc., a Japanese agency specializing in the management and support of live streamers. This deal, finalized on January 16, 2026, represents AnyMind's 14th acquisition and its eighth in the Japanese market. The move is designed to fortify the company’s social commerce infrastructure at a time when live streaming is becoming a primary driver of purchasing behavior.
AnyMind Group serves as a Business-Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS) provider, offering technology and operational expertise across marketing, commerce, and distribution. Bcode focuses on nurturing more than 300 live streamers, many of whom have established strong fan communities on TikTok LIVE. By bringing Bcode into its ecosystem, AnyMind intends to bridge the gap between audience discovery and final purchase.
The integration of Bcode will complement AnyMind’s existing creator network, GROVE, which focuses on content production and brand collaborations. This new addition specifically targets the live commerce segment, allowing brands to engage customers in real-time through high-energy shoppertainment. The company aims to provide a seamless lifecycle from content creation to audience engagement and final distribution. This acquisition is the latest step in a series of strategic expansions for AnyMind Group over the past few months. In late 2025, the company acquired NADESHIKO Beauty to focus on vertical short video production, followed by the acquisition of Sun Smile in January 2026 to enhance offline distribution. These combined assets allow AnyMind Group to offer a comprehensive supply chain of influence that few competitors can match.
CEO Kosuke Sogo highlighted that the nature of enterprise support is evolving as social media and video platforms connect viewing directly to e-commerce. The company plans to advance its social commerce efforts by deepening online-to-offline support and enhancing operations through the use of AI. This approach will allow brands to design and execute purchase-generating initiatives with greater efficiency and data-driven insights.
Yuji Sazanami, representative director of Bcode, will continue to lead the unit under the AnyMind Group umbrella. He emphasized that building a support system spanning marketing and commerce is essential as the creator economy evolves. The group integration marks a new chapter for Bcode as they look to forge new economic ecosystems centered around the passion of live streaming.
This acquisition signals a fundamental shift in the Japanese creator economy from pure influence to transaction-driven utility. By securing a specialized live streaming arm like Bcode, AnyMind Group is positioning itself to lead the "shoppertainment" wave that has already reshaped retail in other Asian markets. This consolidation suggests that the future of social commerce lies in owning the entire lifecycle, where the distinction between a content platform and a retail storefront becomes virtually non-existent, creating a "walled garden" solution for enterprise clients.
