This investment aims to transform the company's existing services into a comprehensive maternal care platform powered by its updated Maternal Health Operating System (mOS). The round saw participation from new investors including The Artemis Fund and Cultivation Capital, alongside existing supporters like The Venture Collective and Empire State Development.\n\nAt the heart of this expansion is mOS, a sophisticated technology suite designed for deep clinical integration. The platform utilizes over 90 APIs and follows SMART on FHIR standards to sync directly with major Electronic Medical Record systems like Epic, Athena, and eClinicalWorks. This technical backbone allows for a seamless data flow between virtual care providers and traditional hospital systems, ensuring that patient records are updated in real time.\n\n### Advanced Integration and Partner Solutions\n\nBeyond backend syncing, the technology supports multitenancy features that allow healthcare partners to white-label SimpliFed services. This structure enables health systems and independent practices to offer branded, high-quality lactation and maternal support with minimal administrative friction. By removing the provider burden, the company makes it easier for clinicians to refer patients to essential home-based care whenever they need it.\n\nThe data-driven approach has already produced significant clinical results for patients across more than 300 health systems. SimpliFed reports that 87 percent of its patients continue breastfeeding at three months, a figure that significantly exceeds the national average of 69 percent. Additionally, 92 percent of patients report reduced stress and anxiety regarding infant nutrition and feeding plans.\n\n### Addressing the Maternal Health Crisis\n\nWith the fresh capital, SimpliFed is broadening its scope to include virtual high-risk monitoring and mental health screenings. This expansion addresses a critical need as rates of postpartum depression and preeclampsia have doubled over the last decade. By integrating these services into their existing feeding support platform, the company aims to close gaps that typically occur in the transition from hospital to home.\n\nFounder and CEO Andrea Ippolito stated that the health and well-being of a parent is deeply connected to baby feeding, yet these areas are often treated in silos.
