The investment, led by Toronto-based growth investor Georgian, values the San Francisco company at $9 billion. Joining the round were prominent institutional partners including Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, Y Combinator, and Databricks Ventures. Alongside the funding announcement, the company launched Replit Agent 4, its most advanced AI-powered development tool. This new agent allows users to move fluidly from a conceptual idea to a fully functional application within a single environment. It features an infinite canvas for visual design and uses parallel agents to build different software components at the same time.

The platform currently supports over 50 million users, ranging from students to professional engineers at Fortune 500 companies.
