This investment marks a strategic shift from mapping individual buildings to creating a unified digital infrastructure for entire cities.

Based in Waterloo, Ontario, Mappedin uses advanced AI and LiDAR technology to transform static 2D floor plans into interactive 3D digital maps. Their platform simplifies complex indoor navigation for over 450 million annual visitors across airports, stadiums, and shopping malls. By automating the mapping process, they provide building operators with real-time operational intelligence and sophisticated wayfinding tools.

Beyond consumer convenience, the company technology addresses a critical gap in public safety and emergency response coordination. Every minute of delay in emergency response can reduce survival rates by 10 percent in indoor settings where GPS often fails. Mappedin provides first responders with the precise, dispatchable location data required by modern safety regulations like Next Generation 911.

The company has already mapped more than 10 billion square feet of indoor space across 86 countries. High-profile clients include Simon Property Group, Los Angeles International Airport, and several Major League Baseball stadiums.
