Cupertino-based Creao AI has secured $10 million in a new funding round led by Prosperity7 Ventures, the venture arm of Aramco Ventures. This latest injection brings the startup total capital to $25 million in less than a year as it builds an orchestrator for the next generation of work. The company aims to move beyond simple chatbots by creating a platform where a single individual can manage the output of an entire department.

The platform centers on what the founders call a super agent, which is a cloud-based AI capable of transforming natural language into functional code and integrations. Since its launch in September 2025, the startup has attracted 200,000 users through organic growth alone. By focusing on execution rather than just dialogue, Creao AI allows users to save successful workflows as persistent Agent Apps that run autonomously.

Technically, the system utilizes a three-layer architecture designed to solve the builder and operator bottlenecks found in current AI tools. A coding agent writes the necessary scripts and connects APIs in a secure sandbox, while the autonomous execution layer ensures these tools run on schedules without human intervention. This closed-loop approach means the AI does not just suggest solutions but actively operates the tools it creates.

CEO Kai Cheng and CTO Peter Pang, a former research scientist for the Meta Llama 3 team, believe the value of human workers is shifting toward high-level decision-making. Pang suggests that the era of measuring engineers by lines of code is ending, replaced by a focus on the clarity of thought and the quality of orchestration. The team practices this philosophy internally, using their own agents to handle SEO, content production, and marketing pipelines.

This funding arrives as the AI agent market is projected to reach $52 billion by 2030. While competitors like Gumloop focus on visual drag-and-drop builders, Creao AI bets on a conversational interface that generates infrastructure. By removing the need for a canvas or node editor, the startup is positioning itself as a more accessible entry point for enterprise-grade automation.

The investment in Creao AI highlights a significant pivot in the venture capital landscape from model-centric startups to execution-focused platforms. While the previous year was defined by the race for larger and smarter language models, the current trend favors Agent OS architectures that provide persistence and repeatability. This shift signifies that the industry is maturing beyond AI as a novelty assistant and toward AI as a reliable, autonomous workforce capable of handling complex, compounding tasks without manual oversight.
