AiStrike Raises $7M to Replace Reactive Security With Preemptive Agentic AI Defense

AiStrike, a San Francisco based cybersecurity firm, announced a $7 million Seed funding round today to accelerate its mission of delivering preemptive cyber defense. The round was led by Blumberg Capital, with significant participation from Runtime Ventures and Oregon Venture Fund. This capital will be used to scale the company's agentic AI platform, which aims to move organizations beyond the traditional reactive security operations center.

The startup is tackling the inefficiencies of legacy security models where teams are often buried under a mountain of alerts. Rather than acting as a simple chatbot or copilot, AiStrike utilizes autonomous agents that perform investigations and correlate data without human prompting. This shift from reactive triage to proactive risk reduction represents a new era as it seeks to automate the complex workflows of security analysts.

A major technical differentiator for the platform is its federated AI analytics architecture. Traditional systems require organizations to centralize all logs into a single database, which creates significant data gravity and high storage costs. AiStrike connects directly to edge systems and alert sources to analyze data where it lives, significantly reducing latency and operational overhead for global enterprises.

Founder and CEO Nitin Agale, previously a key executive at Securonix, built the platform to address the limitations of the very SIEM models he once helped popularize. Early results from deployments at organizations like Sunrun show a 90 percent reduction in false positives and a 50 percent drop in operational costs. This performance suggests that agentic defense can effectively bridge the talent gap in cybersecurity. The funding round also included backing from Michael Sutton, the former CISO of Zscaler, whose firm Runtime Ventures focuses on high impact cyber startups. His participation provides strong industry validation for the company's Agentic Cyber Defense as a Service model. As cybercriminals increasingly adopt AI to automate their attacks, AiStrike provides a necessary autonomous countermeasure to stay ahead of modern threats.
